The founder of Padmini Beauty Salon, (Honourary Doctorate in cosmetics and beauty- culture) is a well known beautician, who is considered as the apex of the beauty industry in Sri Lanka. She has managed to achieve this through the TREATMENTS which are being rendered by her salons through out Sri Lanka, which is on par with the highest standards of this industry.
Dr. Padmini Ramanayaka has travelled to many parts of Europe and other Asian countries and attended many workshops, seminars and courses with regard to this field to enhance her skill and knowledge about beauty therapies.
She has also conducted many beauty courses throughout Sri Lanka for over 17 years, thus producing over 15,000 competent beauticians throughout Sri Lanka , who are currently engaged in this field locally and abroad. Therefore in recognition of her service and contribution to beauty industry Sri Lanka Women's Chamber of Commerce(SUNFO) awarded her the BEST BEAUTICIAN IN SRI LANKA on two occasions.
In addition to the above prestigious awards, the International Open University for Alternative Medicine conferred an Honourary Doctorate to Padmini Ramanayaka for unimpeachable and upper most contribution to the beauty industry.

Dr. Padmini Ramanayaka's daughter Chameeliya Ramanayaka is the only beauty therapist who is officially recognized both in Sri Lanka and Europe, as she is a graduate from the top university for beauty therapy in UK which is Harrow-on-the-Hill University, as she is qualified as a Beauty Therapy Specialist from this university.
